Jewellery You Can Live With 

When I started working on my knitted aromatherapy pieces, I wasn’t trying to create “wellness jewellery” in a trendy sense. I wanted to design jewellery that could support everyday life in a quiet, practical way, while still feeling beautiful and well made. 

What I love about aromatherapy jewellery is that it doesn’t demand extra time or attention. You don’t need candles, sprays, or devices. You choose a scent that suits your mood or intention and carry it with you, whether you’re working, travelling, or just moving through a busy day. 

That's why each piece is designed to hold small lava stone beads, which you can add a few drops of essential oil to. The stone absorbs the oil and releases the scent slowly throughout the day, creating a very subtle, personal experience rather than something overpowering. 

All pieces in this collection are made using knitted wire, a technique that allows metal to feel softer and more fluid than traditional cast jewellery. I work with 18k gold-plated or 925 sterling silver-plated copper wire, combined with stainless steel elements for strength and durability. The result is jewellery that feels lightweight, flexible, and comfortable enough for everyday wear. 

Lava stone is an important part of the design. Its naturally porous surface makes it ideal for aromatherapy, but it also adds an earthy, grounding contrast to the metal. Each stone reacts slightly differently, which means every piece ends up with its own subtle character. 

This collection isn’t about making a statement or following a trend. It’s about creating jewellery that fits into real life. Pieces you can wear daily, layer easily, and return to because they support small moments of calm, focus, or grounding.
